First, an important note:
- This course is designed as a self-study course. You will receive five work examples in PDF format. Each of these explains the process from photo to artwork step by step in pictorial and written form. In addition, you will receive five structures developed by me from my archive. This allows you to work through the course at your own pace – completely flexibly and independently.
Please note: There will be no personal support, correction, or review of your learning progress. This allows you to concentrate on your creative development freely and without any guidelines.
Important: Basic knowledge of Photoshop required - The main technical tool is the Photoshop program. I assume you have basic knowledge of this program. My examples are as simple as possible, so that even less technically savvy users should have no problems with the software. However, if you get stuck with a command, you can always find a solution on the Internet. But as I said, it‘s not complicated—I made sure of that. That‘s why you won‘t receive the learning steps as a video, but as a PDF document, so you can print out the course and work through it at your own pace.
- The image elements used to transform the photograph into a digital artwork are based on structures I have developed. Without these structures, the result presented in the YouTube video cannot be achieved. These are my intellectual property and may not be passed on. That goes without saying. However, you are free to develop your own structures to generate results. Your goal should be to create your own creative images. The material I provide serves as a solid tool to help you succeed when you are just starting out.
- The design parameters require a creative approach. This means that you should also experiment, discard results, and create new ones. The step-by-step process in the sample PDFs cannot be com pared to a ChatGPT or ChatOn AI image generator. You will not receive any ready-made style elements, so the images always look the same and lack individual character. Your creative, intuitive collaboration is crucial to the success of your project. I will provide you with the necessary technical knowledge for this in this course.
- Try to use your own photos whenever possible. You can also use photographs from various image agencies as a basis. If you do so, please always purchase the appropriate license. Never use photographs from the internet, as this can be very expensive. In other words, never violate copyright laws. The photographs I use are my own and purchased licensed images. The following is important to know about licensed images: If, as in my case, the end product becomes an artistically independent work, you own the copyright to it. You do not own the copyright if the photograph remains part of the work.
- Everything has its price
The “Course 1 – Digital Painting Landscapes,” which I have developed over many years of work, is of course not free. However, it is modest compared to the opportunities that my knowledge transfer offers you. I charge a one-time fee of 80 euros for the course. Once the amount has been received via PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer to my account, you will receive the course immediately by email. The contact and checkout form for this can be found at www.schwanitzkunst.com on the “Self-study course in digital painting” page. There you will also find information about the payment process, the right of withdrawal, and the general terms and conditions. - According to the motto “It has to be done”: Insofar as the basic photos in the course are licensed images purchased by me, you do not receive any rights of use or exploitation. The license for these photographs is granted exclusively for the sole purpose of use as application examples within the course content. They may not be used by third parties or published in any form. These photographs remain the intellectual property of their respective authors. Therefore, please refrain from using these images in any way.
